The Scout, the GambleBetScout mascot

Who is the Scout

I write under a pseudonym. “The Scout” is one person, not a content team, and the name on the byline is the only one you will get here. I have been depositing crypto into gambling sites for long enough to have been paid late, asked for a passport after a win and told that a bonus I never asked for had locked my own deposit. I started this site because the review pages I found were ranking whoever paid the most, and I wanted the one I would have used myself.

I do not claim credentials I cannot show you. What I can show you is on the site: every payout test with a transaction hash you can open in a block explorer, every score broken into the parts that produced it, and a Shit List of operators that stopped paying, with the evidence.

How I work

Each site gets the same treatment. I read the terms, the AML policy and the cashier before I sign up, then I sign up, deposit my own money, play, and withdraw. I time the withdrawal from the click to the transaction landing in my wallet and I note whether anyone asked for documents on the way. The score comes from a published formula with six parts, explained on how I rate: payout, KYC, bonus, games, reputation and support, each weighted and each visible on the review page.

Guides follow the same rule as reviews: every fact traces back to a source listed at the bottom of the page, and when I do not have a fact, the guide says so instead of guessing. Each guide shows a last-reviewed date and a changelog when something material changes.

How withdrawals are tested

A payout test is a real withdrawal from a real account funded with my own deposit. I record the date, the coin, the network, the amount, the seconds from the withdrawal request to the on-chain confirmation, whether KYC was requested, and the transaction hash with a link to the explorer. The table on payout tests is the raw log; the review page shows the tests for that site. A site with no tests says so in plain words rather than borrowing a number from its own marketing.

What I do not do

  • I do not give legal advice and I do not say that a site is “legal” where you live. Operators publish restricted-territory lists; I quote them. Whether you may use a site is between you and your local law.
  • I do not sell scores or a way off the Shit List. Operators cannot pay to change a review. Affiliate partners are listed first and labelled “Partner”; their scores follow the same method as everyone else.
  • I do not take bets, hold money or run promotions. This is a directory with opinions, not a casino.
  • I do not invent numbers. If a withdrawal time, a bonus term or a licence number is not published or tested, it is left blank on the page.

How the site makes money

Affiliate links. If you sign up through a link marked “Visit”, the operator may pay me a commission. That pays for hosting and for the deposits used in payout tests. The links go through /go/ so they are easy to spot, carry rel="nofollow sponsored", and never change a score, a verdict or a ranking. The full policy is on the affiliate disclosure page.

Corrections

If I got something wrong, send the evidence through the contact page. I fix the page, add a line to its changelog and leave the correction visible.
