What a US-friendly crypto casino is, and is not
"Crypto casino USA" is the search, but the honest answer starts with a correction. A US-friendly crypto casino, on this list, is an offshore site whose own terms do not exclude the United States as a whole. That is all it is. It is not licensed by any US state, it does not answer to a state regulator, and "accepts US players" always comes with a list of states it refuses. Whether you may play is a question for the law where you live; I quote what the operator says and leave the legal advice to lawyers.
The bar sounds low, yet many crypto casinos fail it. Plenty of the crypto-first sites I have reviewed, Roobet and Rainbet among them, list the United States in their restricted territories. Several "best crypto casinos for US players" lists still include brands like that, which means the first thing a US reader does there is break the terms.
How I picked these sites
The general method is on how I rate. For this list, a site must:
- not list the United States as a restricted country in its terms;
- publish the US states it does refuse, so you can check yours before depositing. Two books here, BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag, publish no state list at all: I say so on their reviews, and you should treat every state as uncertain with them;
- pay crypto withdrawals to US-based players under published limits;
- state its licence claim on its own pages, even if I cannot verify it;
- stay off the Shit List.
A site that merely forgets to block US IP addresses does not qualify. If the terms exclude the US, any balance won from there is at the operator's mercy. The opposite signal is a site that writes its offers for Americans: Bovada's fiat sports bonus says it is intended for U.S. based recreational bettors only.
The list at a glance
Every site that qualifies is in the cards above. Bovada, the first to qualify, gets the detailed row here; I will not pad the list with sites whose terms say no.

Bovada describes itself as serving players in the USA and has done so since December 2011. Its terms block 19 states plus DC: DE, MD, NJ, NV, NY, MI, CO, DC, CT, WV, OH, KS, PA, LA, MA, TN, AZ, NH, VT and RI. The footer says it is licensed by the Union of the Comoros and the Central Reserve Authority of Western Sahara, with no licence number. casino.guru rates it 4.8, "Low", and says it is not aware of an official licence. In May 2024 Michigan's Gaming Control Board sent a cease-and-desist to Harp Media BV, the company regulators name as its operator.
For contrast, here is what two well-known crypto casinos that do not qualify say about the US:
| Site |
US status in its terms |
| Rainbet |
"United States and territories" restricted (T&C §4.1.3) |
| Roobet |
"United States" restricted (T&C §3.5) |
What to watch out for
- Moving or travelling. Bovada asks you to notify it before relocating to or visiting a restricted state. A balance accessed from one of those states "may be considered void".
- VPNs. Bovada treats a VPN or proxy that masks your location as fraud: account closed, all balances forfeited, deposits included.
- Card fees. The first card deposit at Bovada is free; after that, card deposits cost 15.9% or more. Crypto deposits carry no Bovada fee.
- Weekly caps by coin. Bovada's weekly withdrawal cap is $2,500 on ETH, USDT and BCH, against $90,000 on BTC and $180,000 on LTC. The coin you deposit with decides how fast a large win can leave.
- "Recreational only". Bovada's bonus terms say its programs are for recreational bettors and allow voided wagers for limit abuse. A sharp bettor should read that clause before the welcome offer.
Common mistakes
Trusting a "for US players" list without opening the operator's own restricted-territory clause. Assuming an old state list is still current: Bovada's counted 14 markets in September 2024 and 19 states plus DC in its 2026 terms, while some reviews still show six states. Depositing by card to save a step and paying the fee every time after the first. And expecting no-KYC at a US-facing site: Bovada asks for your full name, address, date of birth and phone number at registration and may check them against ID.
How to use this list
The chips above the cards filter by coin and payout speed. Read the full Bovada review for the withdrawal limits per coin and the bonus rollover, or the sites like Bovada page for the closest alternatives I have reviewed; check each one's restricted territories before you click. Sports bettors should also see crypto sportsbooks, and anyone hoping to skip documents should read no-KYC casinos first, where the US exclusions are usually the first line of the terms. Before you claim any bonus, put its rollover through the wagering calculator.
