What makes a Bitcoin casino worth using
Almost every crypto casino puts the orange logo in its footer, so "accepts Bitcoin" tells you very little. A Bitcoin casino worth your coins does three things: it lets you deposit and withdraw BTC on-chain without converting through a card processor, it publishes its minimums and fees for BTC specifically, and it pays withdrawals to your own wallet without inventing new conditions on the way out. The catch is the network itself. Bitcoin adds a block roughly every 10 minutes on average, according to bitcoin.org, and its fees float with demand. BTC is the most accepted coin in gambling and also the slowest and most expensive of the common ones to move.
That is why this page cares about the boring details: the minimum withdrawal in BTC, how many confirmations the cashier waits for, whether Lightning is offered, and whether the casino converts your deposit into dollars on arrival.
Bitcoin networks, fees and confirmation times
On-chain BTC
A normal Bitcoin transaction is final once it is buried under enough blocks. Casinos usually credit a deposit after one confirmation, and some wait for more when the network is congested. The fee you pay goes to miners and rises when blocks are full, so a small withdrawal can lose a visible slice to fees on a busy day. Your wallet shows the current rate before you send; check it before moving small amounts.
Lightning
The Lightning Network settles payments off-chain through payment channels anchored on Bitcoin, with payment speed "measured in milliseconds to seconds" and very low fees. Few casinos support it. Among the sites listed here, Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv name Bitcoin Lightning in their withdrawal limits, each with a $10 minimum (Bovada's maximum is $10,000 per request), and BitStarz and BetUS mention it for deposits. I found no Lightning option in the pages I read for the others, Rainbet and Roobet included, so I do not claim one.
Price movement
BTC moves against the dollar between the moment you deposit and the moment you cash out. Some sites keep your balance in BTC, others convert it. Bovada converts crypto deposits to USD on arrival, which means your winnings are dollar amounts paid back in BTC at the rate of the day. If you want zero price exposure while you play, a stablecoin is the cleaner tool: see the USDT casinos list.
How I picked these sites
Every site here passed the same checks I use across the directory, explained on how I rate. For this list: BTC must be accepted for both deposits and withdrawals on the operator's own pages, not just a payment logo; the BTC minimums and fees must be findable; the licence and restricted countries must be published; and the site must not be on the Shit List. Payout speed counts only when I have a timed withdrawal with a transaction hash on the payout tests page. None of the sites here has one yet, so their speed is what the operator declares, labelled as such.

Of these three, Roobet scores highest, though not on BTC specifics: it charges no withdrawal fee of its own and needs one confirmation on a BTC deposit before you can withdraw. Bovada is the most transparent about Bitcoin limits, and the only one of the three with Lightning, but it declares about 24 hours for approval and up to another 24 hours for BTC to arrive. Rainbet declares 5 to 15 minutes, which is a claim until I time it.
What to watch out for
- Rollover on your own deposit. All three in the table want deposits wagered before a withdrawal: 1x at Rainbet and Bovada, 100% of the deposit at Roobet. Depositing BTC and withdrawing it untouched is not how these cashiers work.
- Minimums that eat small wins. A $75 BTC minimum at Bovada means a $60 balance stays stuck unless you switch to Lightning or LTC. Check the minimum for the coin before you deposit, not after.
- Fresh address rules. Bovada asks for a new wallet address on every BTC withdrawal request. Reusing an old one can delay the payout.
- Verification after a win. All three in the table are "light" KYC: no documents at sign-up, but the right to ask at any time. None publishes a threshold, so plan for an ID request on a large BTC cashout.
- Country rules. Rainbet and Roobet publish restricted-country lists, and Rainbet's terms forbid VPNs outright. Bitcoin does not change where you are allowed to play.
Common mistakes
Sending BTC from an exchange account that does not let you see the transaction hash, then having nothing to show support when a deposit is late. Moving small amounts during a fee spike instead of waiting or using a cheaper coin. Treating "instant withdrawals" on a banner as a promise when the help pages declare hours. And leaving a balance in the casino because withdrawing "costs a fee": a fee is cheaper than a frozen account.
How to use this list
The cards above are sorted by overall score; switch the sort to payout speed once tests exist, or filter by sportsbook if you bet as well as play. Each review has the exact BTC limits, the KYC clause and the restricted countries. If you want faster and cheaper transfers, compare the Litecoin casinos list. For the wider picture, see all crypto casinos and the crypto sportsbooks. Before you take any BTC welcome offer, run its rollover through the wagering calculator.
