Ethereum is the second coin every crypto casino lists, and the one where the cashier details matter most. An Ethereum casino worth using accepts ETH for deposits and withdrawals on its own pages, tells you which network it expects, and publishes the minimum it will pay out. The catch is gas. On Ethereum mainnet you pay a fee to the network on every transfer, and it climbs when the chain is busy. A casino that only supports mainnet ETH can turn a small withdrawal into a bad trade on a congested day.
The fix exists: layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum and Base settle back to Ethereum with lower fees, and a few casinos accept them. The trap is sending ETH on a network the cashier does not support. That deposit is usually not lost forever, but recovering it depends entirely on the casino's support team.
Ethereum divides time into 12-second slots, and a block lands in each slot when validators are online, according to ethereum.org. Thirty-two slots form an epoch, about 6.4 minutes, and blocks become final once checkpoints collect votes from two-thirds of staked ETH. Casinos do not wait for full finality: Roobet asks for three confirmations on an ETH deposit before you can withdraw it.
Every transfer pays a base fee set by the protocol, which is burned, plus an optional tip that buys priority when blocks are full. Ethereum's own gas documentation names layer 2 scaling as the main route to lower costs. Your wallet shows the estimate before you confirm. If it is a visible share of what you are moving, wait or use another network.
Roobet lists Ethereum including the Base and Arbitrum networks, Cloudbet lists ETH on Arbitrum and Base, and Shuffle on Base; Stake says Base, Arbitrum and Optimism are not supported. Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv accept ETH and USDT only on ERC-20, which means Ethereum mainnet. For Rainbet, ETH is on the coin list but the network options sit behind the logged-in cashier, and I have not verified them. Always pick the network in the cashier first, then send from a wallet on that same network.
ETH swings against the dollar like any non-stable coin. Bovada converts crypto deposits to USD on arrival, so a balance there does not follow the ETH price. If you want a balance that stays put, use a stablecoin; the USDT casinos list covers that.
The method is on how I rate. For this list, ETH has to be accepted for deposits and withdrawals on the operator's own pages; the network and the ETH minimums must be findable; the licence and restricted countries must be published; and the site must not sit on the Shit List. Payout speed only counts with a timed withdrawal and a hash on the payout tests page. No site here has one yet.

For ETH specifically, Roobet is the practical pick of these three because of the layer 2 options and no withdrawal fee of its own. Bovada is clear about limits but tight: $2,500 per request and $2,500 per week in ETH, with about 24 hours for approval and up to one hour after that. Rainbet declares 5 to 15 minutes for withdrawals, which I will believe once I have timed one.

Treating the ETH price as part of your result and calling it a winning session when the coin, not the game, went up. And keeping ETH on the casino between sessions instead of in your own wallet.

As safe as the operator behind them. ETH itself does not protect you: what matters is the licence, the restricted countries, the KYC clause and whether withdrawals are paid. Each review shows which of those terms the operator publishes; no site listed here has a timed payout test from me yet.
Ethereum produces a block every 12 seconds, so the network part is quick. The casino's approval is the slow part: Bovada declares about 24 hours for approval and up to one hour after, Rainbet declares 5 to 15 minutes. I list these as claims until I time them with a transaction hash.

On mainnet you pay gas: a base fee set by the protocol plus a tip that buys priority when blocks are full. It rises with demand. Layer 2 networks are cheaper, which is why a casino that supports them is better for small ETH amounts.
Few of the sites listed here advertise a standing no-deposit bonus. Small promo codes exist, often with a withdrawal cap. My no-deposit bonus page explains the caps and the wagering before you chase one.
Rainbet and Roobet list the United States as restricted. Bovada accepts US players except in 19 states plus DC listed in its terms. Paying in ETH does not change those rules.
