Roobet vs Stake (2026): Which One Should You Use?
Stake wins on scout score, payout, bonus, coins accepted, online since. Roobet answers back on nothing measurable yet. If the rows Stake wins are the ones you care about, that is your site.
Roobet and Stake are the two crypto casinos people name first, and they share more than a sportsbook and a shelf of provably fair originals. Both run under the new Curaçao licensing regime, neither publishes a KYC threshold, and both ask you to wager each deposit once before you withdraw. Roobet has been live since 2019, takes eleven coins and blocks 23 territories, the US and UK included. Stake has run since 2017, takes 21 coins and promises no maximum withdrawal. One honest caveat: stake.com is blocked from where I test, so its side of this comparison comes from its help centre, the Curaçao regulator's registry, the UK regulator and Trustpilot, not from the lobby. Where a Stake fact is missing, I say so rather than guess. No own timed payouts exist for either yet. Full reviews: Roobet and Stake.

Who wins for payouts
I have not timed a payout on either site, so this is published rules only, and neither publishes a processing time. Roobet charges no withdrawal fee beyond the network's, across eleven coins including ETH on Base and Arbitrum, but its terms set the minimum withdrawal "at our own discretion" and "instant payouts" appears only in marketing. Fiat users pay 2% on each withdrawal after ten in 30 days. Stake publishes a minimum and a fixed fee per coin (2.5 USDT minimum, 1 USDT fee) across 21 coins, states there is no maximum withdrawal, and warns that large amounts may wait for manual processing. Complaint data is thin: Casino Guru notes few restrained payouts at Roobet, while Trustpilot carries withdrawal disputes; I could read no mediator data for stake.com. Winner: Stake, for the published table and the missing cap.
Who wins for KYC
Same model, different paperwork. Roobet asks for nothing at sign-up (form, Google or MetaMask) and reserves the right to request "any KYC documentation" at any time, freezing deposits and withdrawals until you comply; Level 2 is a passport, driving licence or government ID. Stake's crypto withdrawals need only a verified email and a 2FA or email code, but its compliance team can ask for ID, proof of address, a selfie and proof of source of income "at any given time". No amount is named on either side. Tie: light until it isn't, on both.
Who wins for bonuses
Stake has no deposit match. Its welcome offer is 3.5% of the house edge back as rakeback, paid as cash, if you enter an affiliate code within 24 hours of sign-up, plus a published VIP ladder from Bronze at $10,000 wagered, a daily race and a weekly raffle. Roobet shows a logged-out visitor only a $100,000 weekly raffle at one ticket per $1,000 wagered; its rakeback percentages are not disclosed, and a deposit bonus switches off rakeback and sports betting until it is wagered. Winner: Stake, because it is the only one of the two I can price.
Who wins for the sportsbook
Roobet's sports page lists soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, volleyball, ice hockey, cricket, MMA and table tennis, plus Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2 and Valorant, with in-play odds and streams on selected esports events. Stake's help centre describes singles, multis, same-game multis and Asian handicaps, and adds a poker room; I could not open its sportsbook, so I have no sports count. I have measured margins on neither. Tie, until I can see Stake's book first-hand.
Who wins for reputation
Stake's licence, OGL/2024/1451/0918 for Medium Rare N.V., is on the Curaçao regulator's own registry, with the status "Assessment in progress". Roobet states OGL/2024/687/0427 for Raw Entertainment B.V.; I could not pull it from the register, and only a third-party profile reports it active. Stake left Britain in March 2025 after a UK Gambling Commission investigation. Roobet blocks 23 territories by its own list; Stake's terms were unreadable from my locations. Trustpilot: Stake 3.9 from almost 12,000 reviews, replying to 99% of negatives; Roobet 2.6 from about 2,300, with closures and document requests recurring. Casino Guru gives Roobet 7.9 and showed me nothing for stake.com. Winner: Stake, narrowly, on a licence I could verify.
The verdict
Pick Stake if it legally serves your country and you want uncapped withdrawals, 21 coins and a rakeback rate you can calculate. Pick Roobet if you live outside its 23 blocked territories, play mostly Crash and originals, and want a sportsbook page you can actually read. Expect a document request after a big win at either; sites like Stake and sites like Roobet list the alternatives.

A mature crypto casino with real originals and clean payment rules, let down by discretionary KYC and a bonus programme it will not show you.
