Crypto casinos for US players: what the operators publish

Five offshore casinos say they take US players; most crypto-first casinos list the US as restricted. Their state lists (19 plus DC at Bovada, five at Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv), crypto caps, bonuses, ID checks and licences, quoted with dates. No legal claims.

Cover image

Of the offshore crypto casinos I have reviewed, five say in their own terms or help pages that they take players from the United States: Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino, Slots.lv and Super Slots. Most crypto-first casinos, including Roobet, Rainbet, BC.Game and Shuffle, list the United States as restricted. The US-facing five do not agree with each other either: Bovada refuses nineteen states plus DC, while Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv list five. This page quotes what each operator publishes, with dates. It does not say whether playing at any of them is lawful where you live; that depends on your state’s law and federal law.

What this page does and does not say

It reports operators’ positions and does not rule on legality. Federal law ties the question to the states. UIGEA (31 U.S.C. §5363) bars betting businesses from accepting payments in connection with “unlawful Internet gambling”, and §5362 defines that as a bet “unlawful under any applicable Federal or State law in the State or Tribal lands in which the bet or wager is initiated”. In other words, the federal statute points back to your state’s law. How that applies to you is a question for your state and a lawyer.

Sportsbooks are a separate guide. Crypto sportsbooks for US players covers Bovada’s sports side, BetOnline, SportsBetting.ag, MyBookie and BetUS, their betting limits and the state orders against them. All four run casino lobbies on the same account, under the same terms, so what that guide says about states and verification applies to their casinos too.

Five casinos that say they take US players

Casino What it says about the US US states it lists as restricted Licence wording
Bovada “serving players in the USA” (home) 19 states plus DC (T&C §2.3) “Union of the Comoros and the Central Reserve Authority of Western Sahara”, no number
Ignition Title “Play at the Top Gambling Website in the US”; sign-up defaults to United States DE, MD, NJ, NV, NY (T&C §2.3) Anjouan company registration for Bamboo Media; no gaming licence number
Cafe Casino “only caters to and accept players from the United States” (help) DE, MD, NV, NJ, NY (T&C §2.3) Curaçao OGL/2024/670/0711, Arbol Media B.V., verified on the CGA validator
Slots.lv “accepts players from the United States and Canada” (help) DE, MD, NV, NJ, NY, plus Quebec and Nova Scotia (T&C §2.3) Same CGA licence as Cafe Casino
Super Slots Refer-a-friend programme “accepts players from the following countries: USA and Canada” None: T&C §13 refers to a list “in paragraph 15” that does not exist Claims a licence but names no regulator, company or number

I read all five between 5 and 6 October 2026. Wild Casino runs on the same help-centre template as Super Slots and publishes no restricted list either, but I found no explicit statement that it serves the US, so it stays out of the US-friendly category. That category lists an operator only when its terms do not exclude the US and it clearly says it serves US customers.

Same template, different state lists

Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv publish terms built on the same skeleton. The restricted states sit in §2.3, the VPN clause sits in §6.2 with identical wording, and each says the balance of an account accessed from a restricted area “may be considered void”. The lists inside that skeleton differ.

  • Bovada: “DE, MD, NJ, NV, NY, MI, CO, DC, CT, WV, OH, KS, PA, LA, MA, TN, AZ, NH, VT & RI”. You must tell Bovada before you relocate to or visit one of them.
  • Ignition: “DE, MD, NJ, NV & NY”. Its terms header reads “Latest Update: November 10, 2020”.
  • Cafe Casino: “DE, MD, NV, NJ & NY”. Terms header “Latest update: January 3rd, 2024”.
  • Slots.lv: the same five states, plus the provinces “QC & NS”.

Bovada’s list has grown in public. Third-party trackers counted 14 restricted markets in September 2024 and “15 states and the District of Columbia” by November 2024; the terms now show nineteen plus DC. Michigan’s Gaming Control Board sent a cease-and-desist to Bovada’s operator in May 2024, and Michigan is on Bovada’s list today. It is not on the lists of Ignition, Cafe Casino or Slots.lv. I have not completed a search of state regulators’ records for those three, so the absence of an order in this guide proves nothing either way.

The practical point is that a state missing from a casino’s list tells you nothing about your state’s law. It tells you only where the operator has decided, so far, to stop taking accounts.

Crypto casinos that exclude the US in their own terms

Many “best crypto casinos USA” lists rank sites whose own documents refuse US players. These are the ones I have read:

  • Roobet: “United States” among 25 restricted territories (T&C §3.5).
  • Rainbet: “United States and territories” (§4.1.3); withdrawals may be refused after a breach (§8.6).
  • BC.Game: “the United States and its territories” (ToS 4.3); its Anjouan licence excludes the USA too.
  • BitStarz: United States and Puerto Rico (3.6). RocketPlay: the US in a list of about 218 territories (§3.6).
  • Shuffle (8.3), Gamdom (3.4), Duelbits (3.2), TrustDice (3.6), Wolf.bet (10), WinSpirit, Monkey Tilt (4.4), Rollbit and Cloudbet (7.1.3): the United States is on each list.

I could not read Stake’s terms, so I do not state its position. Restricted-territory clauses are enforced at withdrawal, not at sign-up. The VPN guide quotes what each operator says happens to the balance.

Payments at the US-facing casinos

Casino Crypto in and out Crypto caps per the operator Stated timing Card deposits
Bovada BTC, BCH, BSV, LTC, ETH, USDT, Lightning BTC $9,500 a request, $90,000 a week; ETH, USDT, BCH $2,500 a week; LTC $180,000 a week About 24 h approval, then BTC up to 24 h, others up to 1 h First free, then “15.9% or higher”
Ignition Same seven; ETH and USDT on Ethereum mainnet only BTC $9,500 / $90,000 a week; ETH, USDT, BCH $2,500 a week; LTC $180,000 a week “Usually about 24 hours” approval, then up to 24 h for BTC “15.9% or higher”
Cafe Casino BTC, BCH, BSV, LTC, ETH, USDT (ERC-20) BTC $10,000 a payout, $100,000 a week; ETH, USDT $2,500, one per 3 days About 24 h approval; crypto processed once every three days Fee shown on some cards
Slots.lv Same as Cafe Casino BTC $10,000 a payout, $100,000 a week; LTC $200,000 a week; stablecoins $2,500 once every three days About 24 h approval Fee shown on some cards
Super Slots 17 coins incl. BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, TRX BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC no limit; LTC $50,000; others $10,000–$25,000 “Within 24 hours”; max 10 requests in 7 days Fee by amount, card and history

Three details matter more than the headline caps. Bovada and Ignition convert crypto deposits to US dollars on arrival, and Super Slots runs accounts in USD only, so you hold dollars, not coins, while you play. Stablecoins are the slow lane at four of the five: $2,500 a week at Bovada and Ignition, $2,500 a payout and one payout every three days at Cafe Casino and Slots.lv. And every one of them requires deposits to be wagered at least once before any withdrawal. None of these times are mine; the payout tests page will show it when I time one.

Welcome bonuses, read as costs

  • Bovada: crypto casino offer 125% up to $1,250 on each of three deposits, $3,750 total, 25x rollover.
  • Ignition: 300% up to $3,000 on the first crypto deposit, split between casino and poker; the casino half carries 25x on deposit plus bonus.
  • Cafe Casino: 300% up to $2,000 plus 150 spins; 40x on the match and on the spins, within seven days.
  • Slots.lv: 200% up to $3,000 plus 30 spins; “The deposit plus bonus amount is subject to a 35X playthrough requirement”.
  • Super Slots: 300 free spins on a first deposit of $10 or more, maximum win $100.

Rollover on deposit plus bonus is expensive. At Slots.lv, $100 deposited with a $200 bonus means $10,500 of bets. On a slot returning 96%, a figure I am assuming and not one the casino publishes, the expected cost of that turnover is $420. At Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv, table games count 20% or less towards rollover and live dealer counts zero. The wagering calculator runs the same sum for any offer.

Verification: crypto does not make you anonymous

All five collect your identity at sign-up. Bovada, Ignition and Cafe Casino ask for full name, address, date of birth, email and phone, and check them against third-party data. Cafe Casino’s help centre says it requires “the last four digits of their Social Security Number” to verify registration details. Cafe Casino and Slots.lv send an SMS code at sign-up, at withdrawal and when you claim a bonus; skip it and withdrawals are blocked. Super Slots asks for “a valid phone number” to verify your identity. None publishes an amount that triggers document checks. The no-KYC guide explains why these sites are not no-KYC casinos whatever the deposit method.

Licences behind US-facing casinos

Cafe Casino and Slots.lv are the only two whose licence I could verify: both print Curaçao licence OGL/2024/670/0711 for Arbol Media B.V., and the CGA validator showed it granted on 14 July 2025 with status “Active”. Ignition’s footer links to an Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority company record for Bamboo Media, which is a company registration, not a gaming licence. Bovada names two authorities with no number. Super Slots and Wild Casino name no regulator at all. The licence guide explains what each of these gives a player with a complaint, which is very little.

Prediction markets are a different product

Polymarket’s footer says Polymarket US is operated by QCX LLC, a CFTC-regulated designated contract market, and that the international polymarket.com is not regulated by the CFTC. Its help centre says US residents “cannot deposit funds or place trades on the website”. Kalshi describes itself as a CFTC-regulated designated contract market. Neither is a casino; the prediction-market guide covers the state fights around both.

What to check before a deposit

  1. Read §2.3 or its equivalent in the current terms, not in a review. Bovada’s list has changed several times since 2024.
  2. Check your state regulator’s website for its position and for any action against the operator.
  3. Note the travel rule: at Bovada, logging in from a restricted state can void a balance, even on a trip.
  4. Pick the withdrawal coin before you deposit. BTC and LTC carry the high weekly caps; stablecoins carry the low ones.
  5. Run any bonus through the wagering calculator, and expect ID and SMS checks before the first payout.
  6. Withdraw winnings instead of leaving them with an operator no US regulator supervises.

The short version

Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino, Slots.lv and Super Slots say they take US players; Roobet, Rainbet, BC.Game, Shuffle and most crypto-first casinos say they do not. Bovada refuses nineteen states plus DC, its template siblings five, and Super Slots publishes no list at all. Only Cafe Casino and Slots.lv show a licence I could verify. Whether you may play is a question for your state’s law, so read the terms, check your state, and see the US-friendly list and the slots category for the reviewed sites.

Questions people ask

Which crypto casinos accept US players?

Among the casinos I have reviewed, Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino, Slots.lv and Super Slots say in their terms or help pages that they take US players, each with its own state exclusions. That is their own position, read in October 2026. Whether playing is lawful for you depends on your state's law and federal law.

Is it legal to gamble at an offshore crypto casino in the US?

I do not give legal opinions. UIGEA defines "unlawful Internet gambling" by reference to the federal or state law where the bet is made, so the answer depends on your state. Check your state regulator's website before you deposit.

Which states does Bovada restrict?

Its terms (§2.3) list DE, MD, NJ, NV, NY, MI, CO, DC, CT, WV, OH, KS, PA, LA, MA, TN, AZ, NH, VT and RI: nineteen states plus DC as of October 2026. A balance accessed from one of them may be considered void, and you must notify Bovada before relocating to or visiting one.

Do Roobet, Stake and BC.Game accept US players?

Roobet (§3.5) and BC.Game (ToS 4.3) list the United States as restricted in their own terms, as do Rainbet, Shuffle, BitStarz and Gamdom. I could not read Stake's terms, so I do not state its position. Lists that recommend these sites to US players contradict the operators' own documents.

Do US crypto casinos require ID?

Yes. Bovada, Ignition and Cafe Casino collect full name, address, date of birth and phone at sign-up and can ask for government ID; Cafe Casino asks for the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Cafe Casino and Slots.lv require an SMS code before withdrawals. None publishes a threshold.

How fast do US-facing crypto casinos pay out?

By their own statements, about 24 hours for approval at Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv, then up to 24 hours for Bitcoin; Super Slots says within 24 hours. Cafe Casino and Slots.lv process crypto withdrawals once every three days. I have not timed one yet.
