The most bettor-friendly US-facing book I have checked on limits and coins, run under a Panama licence nobody can look up.

What I like

  • Betting limits published per league, up to $50,000 on NFL spreads, with re-bets every 61 seconds
  • 17 coins, stablecoins on TRC-20 and Polygon, and no maximum on BTC, ETH, USDT or USDC withdrawals
  • Bitcoin withdrawals are fee-free and crypto requests are processed within 24 hours
  • Free bet welcome offer with no rollover on winnings
  • Light sign-up: name, email and phone only

What sucks

  • Panama licence stated without a number; casino.guru marks it unverifiable
  • No restricted country or state list published, so availability is on you
  • Winnings capped at $250,000 per player per 24 hours and $150,000 per parlay
  • Altcoin withdrawals carry fees from $1.50 to $25
  • Bonus rules let BetOnline cancel winnings of non-recreational players; 12-month dormancy wipe

My take

This BetOnline sportsbook review starts with what the book itself publishes, because few offshore books publish this much. BetOnline prints its betting limits per league, lets you re-bet once a limit is hit, and pays out in 17 cryptocurrencies with no maximum on Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT or USDC. It also claims a Panamanian licence it does not number, publishes no list of restricted countries or states, and caps any player’s winnings at $250,000 a day. If you bet sports seriously with crypto, BetOnline is one of the few US-facing books built for you. If you need a regulator you can verify, look elsewhere.

First impressions

Sign-up is the lightest of any US-facing book I have reviewed: first name, last name, email, password and a phone number that must be real, because it receives the verification code. No address, no date of birth on the form. Odds show in American format by default, with decimal and fractional one click away.

The sportsbook menu is dense in a good way. Live Betting, Racebook, Prop Shop, Odds Boosters, Same Game Parlays and Mega Parlays sit across the top, and the sports list runs from NFL and NCAA down to chess, financials, lottery and surfing. Casino, live casino and a poker room share the same wallet. BetOnline says its management has been in the business since 1991; it does not publish a launch year for the site itself, and third parties disagree on it, so I leave the date out.

Odds, markets & live betting

BetOnline’s strongest card is transparency on limits. The help centre lists them by league and bet type: $50,000 on an NFL spread from Thursday to Sunday, $20,000 on the moneyline, $30,000 on an NBA spread, $15,000 on an MLB moneyline, $3,000 on a Premier League moneyline and $100 on esports. Parlays and teasers cap at $5,000 per ticket. Once you hit a limit, you can bet again every time the line moves or every 61 seconds. Sharp bettors will appreciate that more than any banner.

I checked two US lines on the day of writing. The Buccaneers at Cowboys spread was -110 on both sides, a 4.5 percent margin, standard for American football. The Dodgers–Braves moneyline was -106 and -104, about 2.4 percent, which is sharp pricing for baseball. Two lines on one day are not a study, and I have not compared them against another book yet, but they match BetOnline’s reputation for low juice on major markets.

Live betting covers the big US leagues, soccer and tennis, with live limits of $1,000 on most markets. The ceilings matter more than the menu: parlays pay at most $150,000, and no player can win more than $250,000 in 24 hours. Racing fans get up to 9 percent daily rebates on exotics. For other books that take crypto, see my crypto sportsbooks list.

Deposits, withdrawals & KYC

BetOnline takes 17 coins, from Bitcoin and Tether to Avalanche, Cardano, Stellar and the Trump meme coin. Stablecoins run on several networks, including TRC-20 and Polygon, so you are not forced into Ethereum gas. Crypto deposits are free, credit in about 15 minutes, and start at $10. Card deposits carry fees that BetOnline says it cannot waive. Every deposit must be wagered once before withdrawal.

Withdrawals are processed “within 24 hours”, and the limits are the most generous in this group. Bitcoin has no maximum and no fee. Ethereum, Tether and USD Coin also have no maximum, with a sliding fee from $1.50 under $100 to $25 above $250,000. Litecoin tops out at $50,000, Solana, XRP, BNB and Cardano at $25,000, the rest at $10,000. Crypto requests are listed as unlimited in frequency, although the VIP page promises “up to three withdrawals per day” at Diamond level, which suggests ordinary accounts may see a cap in the cashier. Casino.guru records a $25,000 weekly limit. I haven’t run my own timed payout test here yet. It’s coming, and the tx hash will be on this page.

KYC is reserved rather than routine. The deposit and withdrawal rules say BetOnline may request photo ID, copies of every card used and a utility bill or bank statement, and card depositors are asked for all three before a payout. No amount triggers a check on paper. Panamanian AML law, cited in the terms, lets BetOnline ask you to prove your funds come from a legal source. Accounts idle for 12 months are zeroed, though the balance can be reinstated on request.

Bonus: the real value

The welcome offer is modest and, for once, simple. Deposit at least $10 and get 50 percent back as free bet credit, up to $250, plus 100 free spins spread over ten days with winnings capped at $100. The free bet has no rollover: winnings go straight to cash, only the stake is kept. It must be placed at -200 or longer within 30 days. A $250 free bet on a -110 side is worth roughly $115 in expected winnings, so the full offer is worth about that much to a $500 depositor. Use the wagering calculator for anything with a rollover.

Two caveats. The bonus rules reserve bonuses for “recreational players” and let BetOnline cancel winnings for anyone it considers part of a syndicate, and Trustpilot has a recurring theme of “no strings” disputes. The offer is also limited to users located in North America. The VIP programme adds two personalised reloads a month from the first tier, and sportsbook bets earn three times the points of casino play.

Trust & reputation

BetOnline’s terms say it is licensed by Panama’s Junta de Control de Juegos and its legality page calls it “legally licensed and fully regulated”. There is no licence number, no company name and no register link. Casino Guru lists the Panama licence as “Unverifiable”, rates the casino side 4.3, “Low”, and notes that BetOnline does not work with its mediators. Its complaint centre has 25 cases, 6 unresolved, including an $18,000 denied withdrawal and two delayed USDT payouts of around 2,500.

Trustpilot is far kinder: 4.1 from more than 12,000 reviews, 56 percent five stars, mostly for crypto payouts landing in minutes, and 22 percent one star, mostly “rigged” casino games, closed accounts and free-bet disputes. BetOnline replies to fewer than half of the negatives. The terms do not list restricted states or countries, so I make no claim about availability where you live; check your local law. Compared with Bovada, BetOnline offers higher limits and more coins; neither offers a licence you can look up.

Who should bet at BetOnline

The serious US-market bettor who wants posted limits, re-bets, early lines and crypto payouts without a weekly cap on Bitcoin.

The altcoin holder who wants to deposit in Solana, XRP or stablecoins on cheap networks.

Not for you if you need a verifiable licence, a published country list or provably fair games; compare Roobet, the US-friendly list and my sites like BetOnline page.

Bottom line

BetOnline is the most bettor-friendly US-facing book in this batch on limits and coins, sitting on a licence nobody can check.

BetOnline FAQ

Is BetOnline legit?

It is a long-running operator with 12,000-plus Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.1 and fast crypto payouts by most accounts. Its terms cite a Panama Junta de Control de Juegos licence with no number or register link, casino.guru lists that licence as unverifiable and rates the casino side 4.3 (Low).

What are BetOnline's betting limits?

BetOnline publishes them: $50,000 on NFL spreads Thursday to Sunday, $30,000 on NBA spreads, $15,000 on MLB moneylines, $3,000 on Premier League moneylines, $5,000 per parlay or teaser and $100 on esports. Once a limit is hit you can re-bet when the odds move or every 61 seconds.

How long do BetOnline withdrawals take?

BetOnline aims to process requests within 24 hours, and crypto can take up to 24 hours to arrive. Bitcoin is free with no maximum; ETH, USDT and USDC have no maximum and fees from $1.50 to $25. I have not timed a payout myself yet.

What is BetOnline's maximum payout?

Parlays pay at most $150,000, and no player can win more than $250,000 in a 24-hour period.

Does BetOnline require KYC?

Sign-up needs only your name, email, password and a valid phone number. BetOnline reserves the right to ask for photo ID, card copies and proof of address, and asks card depositors for them before payouts. No amount threshold is published.

Which states and countries can't use BetOnline?

BetOnline does not publish a restricted list. Its rules make you responsible for checking your local law, and the welcome offer is limited to users in North America.

What are the best BetOnline alternatives?

Crypto sportsbooks with a verifiable licence, a published country list or provably fair casino games. My ranked list is at /sites-like/betonline/.

Which sites are most like BetOnline?

For betting, Bovada is closest: US-facing, crypto payouts, a published $1,000,000 sportsbook maximum and 19 states plus DC excluded. MyBookie covers 25 sports but pays only by Bitcoin or wire, $5,000 per payout. For casino play, Wild Casino uses the same help-centre template, cashier tables and VIP structure as BetOnline, with the same per-coin withdrawal limits.

Can I use BetOnline from Canada, including Ontario or Quebec?

BetOnline publishes no list of restricted countries, states or provinces, and its rules make you responsible for your local law. The only geographic line I found is in the welcome offer, valid for users located in North America only, and none of the help articles I read on 12 October 2026 mentions Canada. Sportsbook, casino and poker share one account. BetOnline is not among the 84 sites in iGaming Ontario's directory, and the AGCO calls sites outside that market unregulated.
