What I like

  • Curaçao licence OGL/2024/590/0758 verified as active on the regulator's register
  • Sports welcome bonus with only 5x wagering on multiples
  • 40+ sports and esports, live betting, cash-out, bet builder and boosted odds
  • Withdrawals processed every day, crypto usually in under 24 hours
  • 24/7 live chat plus a separate complaints address

What sucks

  • Full KYC on the first withdrawal, with winnings confiscated if not completed within two weeks
  • Withdrawals capped at €4,000 a day, €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month
  • Max win €100,000 per bet and €250,000 per day
  • Casino bonuses at 40x with a €5 max bet; Trustpilot has removed the brand's profile
  • Coin list and licence are not shown on the public pages, at least to Italian visitors

My take

This 20Bet sportsbook review starts with a quirk: from my Italian connection, 20Bet showed me no licence, no company name and no seal anywhere in its footer. The licence exists. The Curaçao Gaming Authority register lists 20bet.com under TechSolutions Group N.V., licence OGL/2024/590/0758, status active. Behind the missing footer sits a big, busy European-style book with esports, boosted odds and a sports bonus that only asks for a 5x rollover. It also caps withdrawals at €4,000 a day and asks for full KYC on your first cash-out. If you bet football and esports in modest amounts with crypto, 20Bet does the job. If you want anonymity or big single payouts, it does not.

First impressions

20Bet looks like a sportsbook first and a casino second. The home page opens on a sports welcome banner, a sign-up box that pre-fills your country and currency, a bet slip that accepts booking codes, and rows of “Hot Combos” and boosted odds. The left rail carries quick links to live betting, racing, boosted odds and a new Copy Bets section. It is a crowded layout, but nothing is hidden more than two clicks deep.

The odd part is the paperwork. The footer links to terms, bonus rules and betting rules, yet the slot where licence seals normally sit was empty for me, and the about page names no company. Served to an Italian IP, every policy page arrived in Italian even on English URLs. The terms say the English version prevails, which is hard to check when the site will not show it to you. I had to go to the regulator’s register to confirm who runs the place.

Odds, markets & live betting

The pre-match menu lists more than 40 sports and esports. Football, tennis, basketball and ice hockey lead, then the long tail: table tennis, cricket, snooker, darts, padel, Gaelic football, Aussie rules, chess and NASCAR. Esports get their own entries for Counter-Strike, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Overwatch and Arena of Valor. When I checked, 179 events were live. 20Bet says an average event carries almost 30 markets.

I read two Nations League totals on the day of writing. Croatia–Spain over/under 3.5 was 2.10 and 1.77, and England–Czechia was 1.83 and 2.02. Both work out to about a 4.1 percent margin, which is ordinary for European football totals: not sharp, not a rip-off. Two lines on one day are a snapshot, not a study.

The extras are the useful part. Cash-out is available on unsettled slips, there is a bet builder, a multibet booster adds up to 100 percent extra on combos, and boosted odds sit on the home page. The ceilings are clear: no customer wins more than €100,000 on one bet, €250,000 in a day or €500,000 in a week, and racing bets cap at €20,000 per bet type per race. For other books that take crypto, see my crypto sportsbooks list.

Deposits, withdrawals & KYC

20Bet does not publish its coin list outside the cashier, and I don’t open accounts to read one. Casino.guru lists ten: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin, Tron, Solana, Dogecoin, XRP, BNB and Cardano. The terms name CoinsPaid as the crypto processor. The FAQ says crypto and card deposits can take up to 24 hours to show, which is slow for crypto.

Withdrawals start at €10 and are processed every day, weekends included, in “up to 24 hours”. The FAQ adds that crypto payouts usually land in under a day. The cap is the problem: €4,000 a day, €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month, unless your VIP level earns an exception. A €30,000 win therefore takes three weeks to leave. You also need to have wagered your deposit at odds of 1.1 or more before cashing out. I haven’t run my own timed payout test here yet. It’s coming, and the tx hash will be on this page.

KYC is full, not light. The FAQ says documents are requested on the first withdrawal. The terms make verification mandatory once your transactions reach €2,000, and list ID, a screenshot of your payment method and a proof of address no older than three months. They can add a selfie with your ID, proof of income, proof of funds, a phone call or a video call. Miss the two-week deadline and the account is closed with winnings confiscated. Casino.guru flags that deadline as unfair, and I agree. Idle accounts pay €10 a month after twelve months of inactivity.

Bonus: the real value

The sports welcome is the better deal. Deposit at least €10 and 20Bet matches it 100 percent up to €100. You must wager five times the bonus within seven days, only on multiples with two or more selections and total odds of 2.0 or higher. Cashed-out, void and duplicate-event bets don’t count, and outrights and racing are excluded. For a €100 bonus that means €500 of accumulators in a week. At a 4 to 5 percent margin per leg, a double costs you roughly 9 percent, so expect to lose about €45 of turnover value and keep around €55 on average. Positive, if you were going to bet doubles anyway.

The casino side is weaker. Both the 100 percent up to €120 offer and the 200 percent up to €500 crypto bonus carry 40x wagering, a €5 maximum bet, and table and live games do not count. Run the numbers in the wagering calculator before you opt in; at 40x on slots, the expected value is close to zero or below. The terms also let 20Bet void winnings for “bonus abuse”, including only depositing when a bonus is running.

Trust & reputation

The licence checks out. The CGA certificate names TechSolutions Group N.V. and shows the licence as active since April 2025. Casino Guru also lists Kahnawake and Estonian licences as verified, rates the casino 7.0, “Above average”, and dates the brand to 2020. It links 20Bet to 17 sister casinos and counts 224 complaints across the group, none currently unresolved. It also calls the terms “unfair”, with seven flagged clauses on KYC deadlines and bonus play.

Two marks against it come from outside the review sites. Trustpilot has removed 20Bet’s profile entirely, saying the business “goes against our guidelines”, so there is no score to read. In November 2025, New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs ordered 20Bet to stop advertising to New Zealanders, under a law that bans promoting overseas gambling there. Neither is a payout problem, but both tell you how the brand markets itself. US players can stop here: the terms exclude the USA, so look at Bovada instead.

Who should bet at 20Bet

The European football and esports punter who bets doubles and trebles in tens or hundreds of euros and wants a fair 5x sports bonus.

The crypto holder with a verified ID who does not mind uploading documents once and cashing out under €4,000 a day.

Not for you if you need no-KYC play, six-figure single payouts or a site that shows its licence on the page; compare Roobet, the crypto casinos list and my sites like 20Bet page.

Bottom line

20Bet is a properly licensed, feature-heavy sportsbook with a fair sports bonus, held back by full KYC on the first withdrawal and a €4,000 daily cash-out cap.

20Bet FAQ

Is 20Bet legit?

20bet.com is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under OGL/2024/590/0758, held by TechSolutions Group N.V., and the CGA register shows it as active. Casino.guru rates it 7.0 with no unresolved complaints in the group. Trustpilot has removed its profile, and New Zealand's regulator ordered it to stop advertising there in November 2025.

Does 20Bet require KYC?

Yes. Documents are requested on the first withdrawal and are mandatory once your transactions reach €2,000: ID, a payment-method screenshot and proof of address, sometimes a selfie, proof of income or a video call. If you don't finish within two weeks, the account is closed and winnings confiscated.

How long do 20Bet withdrawals take?

20Bet says withdrawals are processed in up to 24 hours, every day of the week, and that crypto usually arrives in under 24 hours. The limits are €4,000 a day, €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month. I have not timed a payout myself yet.

What is 20Bet's maximum payout?

The terms cap winnings at €100,000 per bet, €250,000 per day and €500,000 per week. Racing bets are capped at €20,000 per bet type per race unless stated otherwise.

Is the 20Bet sports bonus worth it?

It is one of the fairer ones: 100% up to €100 from a €10 deposit, wagered 5x on multiples with two or more selections at total odds of 2.0 or higher within 7 days. If you bet doubles anyway, the expected value is positive.

Which countries can't use 20Bet?

The terms exclude, among others, the USA, the UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Australia, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Cyprus and Malta, about 70 territories in total. Choosing another country at sign-up to get around the list can cost you your winnings.

What are the best 20Bet alternatives?

Sportsbooks with lighter KYC, higher withdrawal limits or a published coin list. My ranked list is at /sites-like/20bet/.

Can I use 20Bet in Canada or Ontario?

20Bet's terms exclude about 70 territories, and Canada is not one of them. Its iOS app in Apple's Canadian App Store, published by TechSolutions Group NV, is pitched at Canadian bettors and on 12 October 2026 advertised a 100% first-deposit sports bonus up to 150 CAD. Ontario is another matter: 20Bet is not among the 84 sites in iGaming Ontario's directory, and the AGCO calls sites outside it unregulated. Documents become mandatory once your transactions reach €2,000.
