Thunderpick Review
Deep esports menu and email-only sign-up, undercut by 8%+ margins, a zeroed-balance dormancy rule and 11 unresolved complaints.
— the Scout

What I like
- 18 esports titles with hundreds of events, plus 14 traditional sports
- Email-only sign-up, or log in with Telegram, Steam, Google or Twitch
- Anjouan licence shown as valid on the regulator's validator
- 11 coins with USDT on three networks and a Telegram betting bot
- Provably fair in-house games and cash-out on selected markets
What sucks
- Casino Guru Safety Index 2.9: 11 of 22 complaints unresolved and no cooperation with mediators
- Esports match-winner margins I measured were 8.4–8.7%
- Balance zeroed after 12 months of inactivity
- Withdrawals capped at €100,000 a week; deposit and withdrawal fees by jurisdiction, not published
- KYC can be demanded before any withdrawal, with a penalty clause after 30 days
My take
This Thunderpick sportsbook review is really an esports review with sports attached. Thunderpick calls itself esports-first, runs its own Counter-Strike tournament, and lists 18 esports titles next to 14 traditional sports. Sign-up takes an email and a password, 11 coins are accepted, and the Anjouan licence checks out on the regulator’s validator. The trouble starts after you win: Casino Guru rates the site 2.9 out of 10, with half of its 22 complaints unresolved and no cooperation from the operator. If you bet CS2 or League of Legends in small amounts, it works. If you plan to leave a large balance there, read the trust section first.

First impressions
The site looks like a gaming launcher rather than a bookmaker. You can sign up with an email, or continue with Telegram, Steam, Google or Twitch. The esports lobby opens on the ESL Pro League and Thunderpick’s own World Championship, with event counts per game down the side. Odds are decimal by default, and every transaction is settled in euros, whatever currency you display. Card and Apple Pay logos sit next to the crypto icons on the home page, though the FAQ lists only coins and gift cards for deposits.
Odds, markets & live betting
Esports coverage is the real product. When I checked there were 454 esports events across CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Overwatch, Mobile Legends, King of Glory, StarCraft II, Crossfire, e-soccer and more, with 48 live. The sports side covers 14 sports, from football and tennis to darts and Aussie rules. Cash-out is offered on selected markets before and during play, and you can bet from a Telegram bot.
The margins are where enthusiasm cools. On two featured matches, a CS2 ESL Pro League game priced 2.20 and 1.58 and a League of Legends EMEA Masters series priced 1.28 and 3.30, the overround came to 8.7 and 8.4 percent. That is expensive for a two-way market. Limits are set per odds: once you hit your limit at a price, you can bet again only when the odds move, up to a global cap per selection. For books with tighter prices, see my crypto sportsbooks list.
Deposits, withdrawals & KYC
The FAQ lists 11 coins, including USDT on three networks and USDC on Ethereum and Solana. Bitcoin, Solana and XRP deposits need one confirmation, BNB needs 25. The minimum deposit varies by coin and is shown in the wallet. Every deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn. The terms also warn that Thunderpick charges deposit and withdrawal fees in most cases depending on your jurisdiction, without publishing them.
Withdrawals start at €10 and are capped at €100,000 a week. No processing time is published. I haven’t run my own timed payout test here yet. It’s coming, and the tx hash will be on this page. KYC is not routine, but the terms let Thunderpick ask for ID, a utility bill, a selfie or a phone call before any withdrawal. Miss the 30-day deadline and you risk closure, lost winnings and a “contractual penalty” equal to your balance. The harshest rule is dormancy: twelve months without activity and the balance is set to zero.
Bonus: the real value
The betting welcome offer matches your first deposit 100 percent up to €600, from a €20 minimum. The rollover is ten times deposit plus bonus, so a €100 deposit means €2,000 of settled bets. At an 8 percent margin that costs about €160 in expected value to unlock €100, which makes the offer negative on esports markets and roughly break-even only on sharper sports lines. The casino version goes to €2,000 at x40, and the wagering calculator will show you how little that is worth. While a bonus is active, a single casino bet cannot exceed 20 percent of your deposit.
Trust & reputation
The Anjouan validator lists Napier Ltd and thunderpick.io with status “VALID”. Casino Guru also shows a verified Curaçao licence, dates the brand to 2017, and still gives a “Very low” 2.9. Of 22 complaints, 11 are unresolved, several describe closed accounts with confiscated funds or KYC-delayed withdrawals, and Casino Guru says Thunderpick does not respond to its mediators. Trustpilot is split: 2.7 from 452 reviews, 50 percent five stars and 42 percent one star, with the company replying to every negative review. Compared with Roobet or Bovada, the paper trail here is thinner and the complaint record worse.
Who should bet at Thunderpick
The esports fan who wants deep CS2, LoL and Valorant menus and bets small.
Not for you if you keep a large balance, chase value on margins, or might go a year without logging in; check my sites like Thunderpick page and the Telegram casinos list.
Bottom line
Thunderpick has the esports menu, but high margins and an unresolved complaint record make it a place for small stakes; see Thunderpick’s official site if that is all you need.
Thunderpick FAQ
Is Thunderpick legit?
Thunderpick is run by Napier Ltd under Anjouan licence ALSI-202501018-FI1, which the Anjouan validator lists as valid, and Casino Guru also lists a Curaçao licence. Its reputation is weak: Casino Guru rates it 2.9 out of 10 with 11 of 22 complaints unresolved, and Trustpilot shows 2.7.
Does Thunderpick require KYC?
Not at sign-up, which needs only an email and a password. The terms let Thunderpick request ID, proof of address, a selfie or a call before any withdrawal; no threshold is published, and failing to comply within 30 days can cost you your winnings.
How fast are Thunderpick withdrawals?
Thunderpick does not publish a processing time. Withdrawals start at €10 and are capped at €100,000 a week, and each deposit must be wagered once first. I have not timed a payout myself yet.
Is the Thunderpick betting bonus worth it?
It is 100% up to €600 from €20, with a x10 rollover on deposit plus bonus. On esports markets with margins around 8%, the expected cost of the rollover exceeds the bonus, so it only makes sense on sharper sports lines.
Which countries can't use Thunderpick?
The terms exclude the USA, the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten), Curaçao, UN-sanctioned and FATF-blacklisted countries. The Anjouan licence itself does not cover Australia, France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands or the USA.
What are the best Thunderpick alternatives?
Crypto sportsbooks with a cleaner complaint record and lower margins. My ranked list is at /sites-like/thunderpick/.
What is the Thunderpick World Championship?
Thunderpick's own Counter-Strike tournament, promoted on its home page. I do not track its brackets or qualifiers, so check Thunderpick's esports pages for those. When I checked on 6 October 2026, the betting welcome offer was marked as boosted for the event: 100% up to €600 on a first deposit of at least €20, with a x10 rollover on deposit plus bonus.
Can US players use Thunderpick?
No. Section 3.2 of Thunderpick's terms lists the USA as a restricted country, and the validation page of its Anjouan licence excludes the USA too. Accounts accessed from a restricted state lose access and any balance may be considered void; trying to get around the block means closure. Thunderpick allows VPNs to secure a connection from a country it accepts, not to dodge the list.
