Red Dog Casino Review

Tested 6 Oct 2026 · Licence No licence

Avoid: the Anjouan licence in the footer is not on the regulator's register, and payouts start at $150 and stop at $2,500.

My take

This Red Dog Casino review ends up somewhere I did not expect: on my Shit List. Red Dog is a US-facing slot casino with a big lobby, eleven coins and an “up to $8,000” welcome offer. Its footer cites an Anjouan licence, ALSI-122310020-F16, held by Wonder Play Company N.V. On 6 October 2026 the Anjouan regulator’s own register returned nothing for that number, that company or the domain, and Casino Guru labels the licence fake. Add a $150 minimum cashout, a $2,500 cap per payout and full KYC before any withdrawal, and there are better places for your crypto.

First impressions

Red Dog greets you with a corgi mascot, a Halloween skin and a pop-up promising $8,000 “instantly” before the lobby has even loaded. The site itself is quick and tidy, built for phones as much as desktops. The marketing copy says crypto players do not need to verify their identity; the KYC policy says the opposite, which sets the tone for the rest of the fine print.

The licence is where it falls apart. The footer names Anjouan and links a seal that leads back to the casino with the same pop-up. The home page claims “a reputable Curacao gaming license”. The terms send disputes to “our licensing body Gaming Services Provider N.V.”. Three stories, and none of them checks out on the regulators’ registers that I searched.

Games & live dealer

The lobby is the strongest part. A banner claims over 1,875 games; the category counters show 1,146 slots, 42 table games, 31 jackpot titles, 19 blackjack variants, 17 video poker games and 91 specialty games such as plinko and crash-style titles. Red Dog names DiceLab, Betsoft, Rival, Dragon Gaming, Nucleus and Saucify as providers. The live dealer section lists 22 tables, mostly blackjack, with limits from $10 to $10,000. There is no sportsbook and no provably fair game. If slots are your thing, my slots list has libraries of similar size from operators with a licence you can check.

Deposits, withdrawals & KYC

Red Dog takes eleven coins. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, Cardano, Shiba Inu and BNB start at $20 with no real maximum; USDT and USDC start at $40. Cards run $30 to $1,000. Deposits must be wagered once before any withdrawal.

Cashing out is the problem. The minimum is $150, every payout is capped at $2,500 per transaction unless your customer level or a VIP host raises it, large wins are split into smaller payments and only one payout can be pending at a time. The home page quotes 1 to 3 business days for Bitcoin, 3 to 4 for cards and 5 for wires, and names Bitcoin as the only crypto withdrawal option. I haven’t run my own timed payout test here yet. It’s coming, and the tx hash will be on this page.

KYC is full and early. The KYC policy requires ID, a proof of address no older than three months, both sides of every card used and your wallet details once lifetime deposits pass $2,000 or you request any withdrawal. Review takes two to three business days. The AML policy adds source-of-wealth checks above $5,000, and the terms list credit scores among the factors that set your customer level. A VPN is forbidden, so this is no place for the no-KYC crowd.

Bonus: 40x and a 30x cap

The headline offer is up to $8,000 across four deposits at 40x deposit plus bonus, with a $10 maximum bet and cashout limited to 30 times the deposit. The bonus-code table shows how the parts work. A $100 crypto deposit with the 225 percent slots code, plus the 20 percent crypto extra, gives $245 in bonus. At 35x deposit plus bonus that is about $12,075 of slot wagering, roughly $480 in expected losses at a 4 percent house edge. That is negative expected value before the cap applies. Live dealer games are off limits while a bonus is active, and 30-odd progressive slots are excluded. Check your own numbers in the wagering calculator, then play without the bonus or somewhere else.

Trust & reputation

I searched the Anjouan Gaming licence register for the number, the company and the domain: zero results among 1,543 licences. Licences issued on the same day with neighbouring numbers are listed, including ones whose expiry date has passed. Red Dog is also absent from the revoked and recognition registers. Casino Guru rates the site 4.9, “Low”, and marks the licence “Fake”. To be fair, its complaint table shows no unresolved case: 14 resolved and 23 rejected out of 37. Trustpilot sits at 2.7 from 92 reviews, 65 percent one star, mostly about slow payouts and the $150 and $2,500 limits.

A licence that cannot be found at the regulator named in the footer meets my Shit List criteria. If Red Dog publishes a certificate that the register confirms, I will review this page.

Who should play at Red Dog Casino

Nobody who needs a licence that checks out. That is the short answer while the register stays empty.

US slot players will find bigger, verified alternatives on my US-friendly list, from Cafe Casino, whose Curaçao licence opens on the regulator’s validator, to Ignition. My sites like Red Dog page ranks the rest.

Bottom line

Red Dog has a fun lobby and a licence its named regulator does not list; skip it.

Red Dog Casino FAQ

Is Red Dog Casino legit?

I would not play there. Its footer cites Anjouan licence ALSI-122310020-F16 for Wonder Play Company N.V., but on 6 October 2026 the Anjouan Gaming public register returned no match for the number, the company or the domain, and Casino Guru labels the licence fake. Red Dog is on my Shit List for that reason.

Is Red Dog Casino licensed?

It claims to be, in three different ways: Anjouan in the footer, Curaçao on the home page and Gaming Services Provider N.V. in its terms. None of these appears on the Anjouan or Curaçao registers I checked.

How long do Red Dog withdrawals take?

Red Dog quotes 1 to 3 business days for Bitcoin, 3 to 4 for cards and 5 for bank wires, after 2 to 3 business days of document review. The minimum is $150 and each payout is capped at $2,500. I have not timed one myself.

Which states and countries can't play at Red Dog?

Its terms exclude Georgia, Israel, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, plus the US states of Kansas and Michigan. Using a VPN to get around this is forbidden.

Does Red Dog Casino require KYC?

Yes. Its KYC policy requires ID, proof of address, both sides of every card used and wallet details before any withdrawal, or once lifetime deposits pass $2,000. Source of wealth can be requested above $5,000.

What are the best Red Dog Casino alternatives?

US-facing casinos whose licence you can check on the regulator's site, with higher payout caps. My ranked list is at /sites-like/red-dog/.
